Promises

I will fulfill My promises, says the Lord.  I do not break them as others do.  You have been betrayed by others, abandoned, lied to, slandered, abused, and disappointed in the past, but none of this comes from Me.  You can trust My Word.  You can trust My infallible love.  You can depend upon My constant care, and you will not be disappointed in Me.  I cannot and will not abandon you, abuse you, misuse you, and when I tell you that I love you, it is real and unchanging, says the Lord.

My promises are genuine as well, says the Lord. They are not big, empty words, but absolute truth that endures forever.  My promises are not dependent upon others to fulfill them.  I will do it by My own power and My resources are inexhaustible.  I have created everything for My purpose and pleasure, and I do not need any help or permission.  You are assured of My promises that are as unfailing as I Am, and I will grant you  the desires of your heart as you entrust your total care to Me and rest in My love, says the Lord.
