Harvest Time

Harvest Time

The fields are already ripe for harvest, says the Lord.  You do not have to wait for opportunities, for they surround you daily.  Don't be shy.  Lift up your voice like a trumpet.  Don't fear the looks of rejection and mockery.  You are not here to please, but to proclaim.  A witness speaks.  I have already called and chosen you to be a voice, be a witness, be a minister in the very place you are, says the Lord.

Some will welcome you and others will reject you, but that is not your concern, says the Lord.  The sower will sow the word, and the results will be a harvest. As I have spoken, some will fall on good ground; others will not.  Don't focus on the failures of the seed to penetrate hearts and lives and bear fruit, but trust that some will hear, receive, and bear fruit that remains. If you focus on failure and rejection, you will never have room for success and acceptance. Don't wait for the perfect moment. I have situated you exactly where you are for a purpose, and everyone who is part of your life is that opportunity for you to reach with a message of hope, for light in darkness, for comfort in their pain, and love where no other exists, for healing of the sick, help to the helpless, and hope for those who have lost it. You will be a beacon of hope for those who are searching for something they fear does not exist.  You have what they are longing for, and your work is important and will be rewarded, says the Lord.
