Focus on Good Things

Focus on Good Things

Focus on the good things that are all around you rather than the bad things that are vying for your attention, says the Lord.  For you will go in the direction that your thoughts take you.  You cannot build hope when you think about doubts and fears.  Surround yourself with those who speak about My goodness and mercy and blessings that I daily give them, and practice praise and thanksgiving continually. For I inhabit your praises that come genuinely from your heart.  You have much to be thankful for, says the Lord.

Many can only see darkness and defeat, poverty and problems, says the Lord.  What are you seeing?  Do you look for fulfillment of My promises to you or are you questioning My faithfulness?  I have kept you all the days of your life,  I have sustained you,  provisioned you, and helped you continually.  I will never forsake you.  You will never be without My help, My love, My care.  Trust that in every time and season I remain faithful and true to you.  Think and speak good thoughts, and entrust your future to Me.  I will take care of you as you trust in Me, and you will never be alone, says the Lord.
