Awake to Righteousness

Awake to Righteousness

Awake to righteousness, says the Lord. It is time to rise and shine.  Stand up.  Gear up.  Speak up.  It is time. I will now arouse My sleeping church, and it will not be a gentle nudge.  For they will just turn over and go back to sleep if it is.  I will cry aloud and command My warriors to man their battle stations.  This is not war games, but the real thing.  The ammunition is not fake.  The weapons are not phony.  The alarm is not like a fire drill.  You have already heard that and practiced those preparatory exercises with a bit of boredom and repetition that seemed uneventful and intrusive in your normal routine.  But this time it is different, says the Lord.

The enemy relies on the slumbering, but I will awaken them, says the Lord.  I Am the captain of the host, and the enemy cannot take advantage of them.  Put on righteousness as an armor and be mantled with it.  For it is always your defense.  It is not an option, but essential.  My light in you will pierce through the darkness as you rise and shine.  The enemy will not be able to lurk in the darkness, for the exposure will be evident.  Light will penetrate the darkness. Righteousness will reign.  Up!  Time to rise and shine, for your light has come, and the dense darkness will be dispelled by the light of My glory that will be seen in My glorious church, says the Lord.
